The Netflix show 'Social Currency' fame Sakshi Chopra, the great-granddaughter of late producer Ramanand Sagar, recently shared her heartfelt memories of her teachers on the occasion of Teacher's Day. During an exclusive chat with Filmibeat, the fashionista thanked one of her teachers and expressed her gratitude for teaching her the importance of 'self-discipline'.

Reflecting on her experiences, she told us, "If I had the chance to thank one teacher, it would be Mrs. Maureen Rebello. She instilled self-discipline in me, which is the highest form of self-love. Singing with her always felt spiritual."

Sakshi also recalls her time at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, where she formed a close bond with method acting instructor Anne DeSalvo. "Through one-on-one training over several months, I channeled my deepest, most raw emotions into the scripts she handed me," Sakshi shares.

Back in June 2023, the LA-based singer-actress opened up about her 'uncomfortable' experience on the Netflix reality show Social Currency.

She had also accused the streaming giant and the makers of the show of s*xually harassing her in a lengthy post.

She describes performing a monologue that brought her instructor to tears and earned her a standing ovation from her class. "I never felt so seen. It was a very defining moment as an artist, gaining that small victory," she reflects.
