From her hospital bed, Saira Banu took a trip down memory lane, recalling her 'dream wedding' with her late husband, Dilip Kumar.

On Instagram, Saira ji posted cherished photos with her late husband and wrote a heartfelt note. She described their wedding day as 'wonderfully chaotic' and reminisced about the fun moments during their nikah ceremony. Fans even gatecrashed their wedding, adding to the chaos.

The 'Padosan' actress shared how her wedding lehenga was stitched at a local tailor's shop and how they ran short of food on their special day.

In her caption, she wrote, "Our wedding, as beautiful as it was, was wonderfully chaotic. It was nothing extravagant. My wedding lehenga was stitched at a local darzi's shop, we didn't even have time to print our wedding invitations as everything happened so quickly. And thank goodness for that! Had we had more time, my mother, Pari Chehra Naseem Banu, would have left no stone unturned it would have been a parade of designers, jewellers, and whatnot. Originally the Nikaah was supposed to happen in Novemeber, but due to certain reasons, we had to rush. Dilip Sahib phoned my mother from Calcutta and said "Aap Ek Maulwi Ko Bulwaiye aur Nikaah Padhwa Dijiye! Nevertheless, the day filled with humorous little moments."

In the comments section of her post, Saira Banu reflected on how much she misses Dilip Kumar's presence. She mentioned that she is in the same hospital room and bed where he spent days recovering from his illness.
