On January 14, 2025, an individual reportedly attempted to survey the property by placing a 6-8 feet ladder against it. Authorities suspect this person might be linked to both incidents.

CCTV footage from around Shah Rukh Khan's house shows a person with a similar height and build to the attacker of Saif Ali Khan conducting reconnaissance. Although only one person was visible on camera, experts believe it would be challenging for a single individual to manage the heavy iron ladder and conduct surveillance alone.
