Saif Ali Khan Discharged From Hospital Following Stabbing Attack At His Mumbai Residence
Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan was recently discharged from Lilavati Hospital after a harrowing incident at his Mumbai home. On January 16, an attempted robbery led to Saif being stabbed six times. Despite the severity of the attack, he survived and received immediate medical care. Reports now confirm his release from the hospital, providing an update on his recovery.
Following the attack, Saif underwent two major surgeries: neurosurgery and plastic surgery. The knife's metal part was removed near his spine, and doctors declared him out of danger. According to Indian Express, Saif has been discharged but remains in the hospital for formalities with help from Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sharmila Tagore. Kareena was seen visiting earlier today.

Doctors have instructed Saif to remain on bed rest for about a week. He must also avoid visitors to minimise infection risk. The most serious injury was near his thoracic spine, where the knife narrowly missed his spinal cord by just 2 mm. This caused spinal fluid leakage, necessitating surgery. Additionally, he had plastic surgery on his arm and neck due to wounds.
The police have apprehended Shariful Islam Shehzad, suspected of being involved in the attack. He is believed to be a Bangladeshi national who entered India illegally.
Saif's recovery journey continues under strict medical guidance. His family remains by his side during this challenging time. Fans are relieved to hear about his discharge and hope for a swift recovery as he follows medical advice closely.
