Saif Ali Khan Injured During Burglary Incident At His Residence; House Staff Provides Statement To Police
In the early hours of January 16th, a thief broke into Saif Ali Khan's home, leading to a burglary. A member of the household staff confronted the intruder, resulting in a struggle. During this altercation, Saif Ali Khan was seriously injured and required immediate medical attention at a nearby hospital.
The staff member provided a statement to the Mumbai Police. She explained that Saif Ali Khan responded to her cries for help by calling the police before intervening in the scuffle. During this confrontation, he sustained six injuries, including two severe ones, with one dangerously close to his spine. His condition became critical after the attack, but his son Ibrahim Ali Khan helped him reach the hospital promptly for surgery.

Currently, Saif Ali Khan remains hospitalised. A doctor at the facility mentioned, "Saif Ali Khan has been shifted to the ICU for one-day observation. We'll decide the next step after that tomorrow. Right now he's doing absolutely fine." The actor's team also released a statement confirming his recovery post-surgery and thanking fans for their support.
The house staff also suffered a minor hand injury during the incident. She received treatment at the hospital and was discharged after her wound was addressed.
