Saif Ali Khan's Attack Sparks Urgent Security Concerns Among Bandra Residents And Celebrities

Bollywood fans were taken aback by the news of Saif Ali Khan's attack at his Bandra home, Satguru Sharan luxury apartments. An intruder reportedly entered his residence around 2:30 am and stabbed him several times. Saif was quickly transported to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital for surgery. Thankfully, he is now stable and out of danger.

This alarming incident has raised questions about the safety of residential areas in Mumbai's upscale Bandra locality. Karishma Tanna, a neighbour of Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan, described the attack as a 'wake-up call' for standalone buildings in the vicinity. She emphasised the necessity for enhanced security measures and better-trained watchmen, stating, "I have been telling everybody in my cooperative housing society for over a year or even more to increase the security... If a burglar barges into your building, the watchmen are not trained enough to tackle the situation."

Karishma also shared her intentions to discuss security improvements with her building's team following this event. She conveyed her heartfelt wishes for Saif's quick recovery in a video shared on paparazzi pages.

Raveena Tandon also expressed her worries about Bandra's deteriorating safety standards. On Instagram, she pointed out the growing risks faced by celebrities and residents alike. Raveena wrote in her Instagram story:

"Targeting celebrities and soft targets in what used to be a safe residential area has become rampant, with Bandra losing out to unruly elements, accident scams, hawker mafia, encroachers, land grabbers, and criminal elements racing on bikes, phone and chain grabbing. Need stronger measures. Wishing you a speedy recovery #Saif."
