Saif Ali Khan Injured In Burglary: Kareena Kapoor Khan's Team Requests Privacy During Surgery
The Bollywood community was taken aback by the news of Saif Ali Khan's injury during a burglary at his Mumbai home. Reports indicate that he was stabbed six times before the attackers escaped. He is currently receiving treatment at Lilavati Hospital, where he is undergoing surgery. This incident has left many in shock, prompting a statement from the attending doctors.
According to the hospital's official statement, Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an unidentified individual at his residence. He sustained six injuries from a sharp object, with two wounds being particularly severe. One injury is near the spine, and a 'small piece of foreign body close to the spine is identified'. "He is currently undergoing surgery under Dr Nitin Dange, Consultant Neurosurgeon, Dr Leena Jain, Consultant Plastic Surgeon, Dr Nisha Gandhi, Consultant Anaesthesiologist, Dr Kavita Srinivas, Intensivist, Dr Manoj Deshmukh Consultant Radiologist. The extent of the damage will be understood once the surgery is completed," stated the hospital.

In response to this distressing event, Kareena Kapoor Khan's team released a statement requesting privacy. They confirmed that Saif is undergoing surgery and that police investigations are underway. The statement read: "There was an attempted burglary in Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's residence last night. Saif had an injury on his arm for which he is in hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine. We request media and fans to be patient and not speculate any further as the Police is already doing their due investigations. Thank you all for your concern".
Saif's co-star from Devara, Jr NTR, expressed his dismay over the incident on Twitter. He wrote: "Shocked and saddened to hear about the attack on Saif sir.
