Saiee Manjrekar Opens Up About Bollywood Parties And Securing Roles

Saiee Manjrekar made an impact this year with her role in Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. Despite the film's poor box office performance, her acting received much praise. In a recent chat with Filmibeat, Saiee discussed her films and more. Although she is the daughter of actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar, she is rarely seen at Bollywood parties.

When asked why she avoids B-Town parties, Saiee explained, "I don't like partying; it's not about Bollywood or non-Bollywood. I hate partying outside my house. For me, parties have always been like my friends come home, we blast Hindi music and we dance. Going to a club, trying to socialise in a party, and talk to them when there's so much music I can't do that."

She further added, "I genuinely don't enjoy that vibe. I don't enjoy going to the club where I can't see people properly and then to talk to someone you have to scream at the top of your voice. I am like let's meet for dinner and talk, and then let's dance."

A few weeks ago, an actress' interview went viral discussing how not attending Bollywood parties affected her roles. When asked if attending such events helps in getting roles, Saiee responded, "I don't know how much truth is there. It's like a very one of chances that you go to a party, probably director sees you in a different light and he is like 'oh she can do the part'. But, that can happen anywhere; to be at the right place at the right time is the most important thing, so if that is the right place then yes, and if not then no. It's not like hard and fast thing that if you go to a party, so you will get the role."

Upcoming Projects

Saiee's next project is a pan-India film titled The India House featuring Nikhil Siddhartha in lead roles. During our interview, she also mentioned starting work on another film soon but couldn't disclose details.

Saiee's preference for intimate gatherings over loud parties highlights her unique approach within Bollywood's social scene. Her upcoming projects are eagerly awaited by fans who appreciate her talent.
