Riteish Deshmukh's PILL Series Exposes Pharmaceutical Industry's Dark Underbelly

Pill Trailer Out: Riteish Deshmukh's new series, PILL, is set to premiere on JioCinema Premium on 12th July. The trailer has been released following a gripping motion poster. This human drama series delves into the pharmaceutical industry, which plays a crucial role in our daily health. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP Movies and created by Raj Kumar Gupta, the series also features Pavan Malhotra in a significant role.

PILL introduces Prakash Chauhan, portrayed by Riteish Deshmukh, who investigates the deep-rooted corruption in India's pharmaceutical sector. The series follows the journey of a pill from production to consumption, highlighting various characters such as powerful pharma executives, corrupt doctors, medical representatives, compromised drug regulators, politicians, journalists, and whistleblowers. As Prakash confronts the manipulative CEO of a pharma company played by Pavan Malhotra, he embarks on an honest quest to uncover the truth behind a powerful nexus prioritising profits over patients. This intense battle between good and evil aims to raise awareness among viewers about the importance of vigilance in a world dominated by medicines and vaccines.
