Richa Chadha To Star In Comedy Film Amidst Motherhood Journey

Richa Chadha's Upcoming Projects: Actress Richa Chadha is ready to break traditional barriers by balancing her career and motherhood. Unlike many actresses who take a break from their careers for motherhood, Richa plans to continue working without any interruption. She has signed on for a new, untitled film, which will start production soon. The comedy script, written by Amitosh Nagpal, is set in North India.

A source close to the film's production shared, "Richa has loved the script and it's a really fun concept. The pre-production work is set to take place in August and will go on floors in October. The film is meant to be shot at the brink of winters in the north".

Richa Chadha expressed her views on managing work and maternity breaks, stating, "While I can't speak for all women, because it depends on each individual what their journey is like, I am determined to get back to work as soon as possible, and not take a long break, as I have pending commitments." She draws inspiration from her mother who managed both roles gracefully.

"I believe I can handle both duties effectively as well because it depends on the kind of support system you have around you and how hands-on your partner is. In my case, I feel blessed to have both those things figured out," she added. Richa also mentioned being inspired by Mumbai's women who continue working late into their pregnancies.

As Richa steps into this new phase of life, she remains committed to her acting projects. She assures her fans that her dedication to acting and storytelling will remain strong despite the changes in her personal life.

"I also don't think it is out of the ordinary. I have seen the badass women of Mumbai take local trains well into their 9th month, heading to work, looking perfectly groomed with their gajras intact. I am very inspired by the average Indian woman and don't want this to be treated as a medical condition; it is not. It is a natural part of life," Richa stated.

The upcoming film's pre-production will begin in August with filming scheduled for October during North India's winter onset. This project signifies Richa's determination to maintain her professional commitments while embracing motherhood.
