Rhea Kapoor Chased Diljit Dosanjh For A Year To Get 'Naina' Song For 'Crew'

Diljit Dosanjh's Crew Song: Anil Kapoor's production venture 'Crew' has been making waves since its release. The film performed well at the box office and continued its success on OTT platforms.

Not just the film, but its songs have also gained immense popularity, especially 'Naina', sung by Diljit Dosanjh. In a recent interaction, Diljit revealed that Rhea Kapoor, the producer of 'Crew' and Anil Kapoor's daughter, "pursued" him for a year to create 'Naina'.

"I told her I could not make songs for Bollywood, I didn't know how to do it, but she pursued me for a year. That time I was working on an album and she would ask me every 10 days where was the song. It was she who made that song through me," he said.

The song, featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu, continues to top the charts. On YouTube, it remains one of the most viewed tracks with over 91 million views.

On the work front, Rhea is gearing up for her next project. Anil Kapoor is set to host 'Bigg Boss OTT 3', which will start streaming on Jio Cinema from June 21 onwards. The actor has also started preparations for his next film titled 'Subedaar' and is rumoured to be part of YRF's spy universe.
