Ratna Pathak Shah's Involvement Elevates Gujarati Film 'Kutch Express'

It's been a year since the release of 'Kutch Express,' yet the film continues to be a topic of discussion. Recently, actress and producer Mansi Parekh shared an intriguing detail about the Gujarati blockbuster.

During the first-ever actresses' Roundtable 2024, streaming on Shemaroo Gujarati Manorajan's YouTube Channel, Parekh spoke about her experience working with Ratna Pathak Shah. She also shared her initial thoughts when approaching the veteran actress for the film.

Parekh revealed, "It was an incredible experience working with Ratna Pathak Ma'am. When I shared the 'Kutch Express' script with her, we were unsure if she would agree to do a Gujarati film. But within 10 days of reading the script, she was on board. I learned so much from her throughout the shooting process. Working with veterans like Ratna Ma'am has been a tremendous learning experience. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to absorb so much from her."

'Kutch Express' is a Gujarati drama film that highlights the unique bond between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, and a son who encourages his mother to pursue her dreams. Directed by Viral Shah, the film stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Manasi Parekh, Dharmendra Gohil, Darsheel Safary, and Viraf Patel in lead roles. It is produced by Parthiv Gohil and Manasi Parekh.

The film is available for streaming in Gujarati and Hindi languages on the ShemarooMe OTT platform.
