Strict No-Phone Policy Enforced On Ranbir Kapoor’s 'Ramayana' Film Set

Nitesh Tiwari's much-anticipated film, "Ramayana", has been the subject of widespread discussion and anticipation. However, the excitement was somewhat dampened by the leakage of several photos and videos from the set, showcasing cast members Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, and Sheeba Chadha in their respective roles. In response to these leaks, director Nitesh Tiwari has implemented a stringent no-phone policy on set to prevent further unauthorized disclosures.

The leakage of images featuring cast members in full costume and makeup has led to considerable frustration within the production team. A report from India Today highlighted Tiwari's disappointment with the situation, prompting the introduction of a no-phone rule on set. This measure aims to curtail the spread of unauthorized content on social media platforms.

"Director Nitesh Tiwari is very upset with the photos coming out. Hence, a strict no-phone policy has been imposed on the set," a source disclosed to the publication. The directive extends beyond merely restricting phone usage; additional staff and crew members are now required to vacate the set once filming commences. This policy ensures that only essential personnel, including actors and technicians needed for a particular scene, are present during shoots.

"Only actors and technicians required for the scene have been asked to be on set and everyone else has been denied permission for access," the source further explained.

In an effort to maintain secrecy around Ranbir Kapoor's portrayal of Lord Ram, there is speculation that Tiwari is considering employing a body double for Kapoor until he officially joins the shoot. This strategy could potentially prevent any premature revelations of Kapoor's look in this mythological epic.
