Rajkummar Rao's 'Srikanth' Inches Towards ₹30Cr In Second Week

Srikanth Box Office Collection Day 13 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao is currently in the spotlight, and for good reason. His latest film, Srikanth, has been receiving widespread acclaim. The movie, directed by Tushar Hiranandani, features Alaya F, Sharad Kelkar, and Jyothika alongside Rao. It is a biopic on Srikanth Bolla, a visually-impaired industrialist and founder of Bollant Industries. Rajkummar's portrayal of the titular character has captivated audiences.

Srikanth opened to positive reviews from both critics and viewers, maintaining a steady performance at the box office. The film began its journey with an opening day collection of Rs 2.25 crores and had a strong opening weekend. Despite some fluctuations during the first week, Srikanth managed to sustain its box office presence, bolstered by word-of-mouth promotion. The second weekend saw a notable increase in collections.

'Srikanth' Nears ₹30Cr in Week Two

On the second Monday, Srikanth experienced a 62% drop in numbers but still managed to earn Rs 1.5 crores on day 11. According to Sacnilk, the film saw another decline on the second Tuesday (day 12), earning an estimated Rs 94 lakhs. This brought the total collection to Rs 28.54 crores. Based on current trends, Srikanth is expected to see another drop in collections today (day 13/second Wednesday), likely earning between Rs 80 lakhs and Rs 1 crore, inching closer to the Rs 30 crore mark.

As Rajkummar Rao basks in the success of Srikanth, he is also preparing for his next release, Mr and Mrs Mahi, co-starring Janhvi Kapoor. Directed by Sharan Sharma, this film marks Rajkummar's second collaboration with Janhvi after Roohi. Janhvi recently shared insights about her role in the movie, stating that their director is committed to authenticity. She revealed that she had to train rigorously to become a cricketer for the film, even suffering injuries during the preparation process.

"Our director is a purist and works with a lot of honesty," Janhvi said. "He wanted me to become a cricketer for the film without relying on VFX or shortcuts. I suffered several injuries while prepping; both my shoulders were dislocated. I give all credit to our director and my coaches Abhishek Nayar and Vikrant sir for their support."
