Mr And Mrs Mahi Day 6: Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor's Film Eyes 25Cr Milestone

Mr and Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 6 Prediction: After their successful collaboration in Hardik Mehta's 2021 film Roohi, Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor have teamed up again for Sharan Sharma's Mr and Mrs Mahi. The film also features Rajesh Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Purnendu Bhattacharya, Zarina Wahab, Arjit Taneja, and Yamini Das in supporting roles. Mr and Mrs Mahi has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Mr and Mrs Mahi tells the story of Mahendra, a failed cricketer, and Mahima, a doctor. Both share the nickname Mahi and have a deep passion for cricket. The film opened to positive reviews from audiences and recorded an opening day collection of Rs 6.75 crores. This made it the second highest opener for Janhvi and Rajkummar after Dhadak and Stree.

However, the first Monday saw a significant drop of over 60% in earnings, with the film collecting Rs 2.15 crores on day 4. Despite this, Mr and Mrs Mahi has been trying to maintain its performance at the box office. It earned Rs 2.02 crores on day 5 (first Tuesday), bringing the total collection to Rs 21.02 crores. Based on current trends, the film is expected to earn between Rs 1.5-2 crores on day 6 (first Wednesday), approaching the Rs 25 crores mark.

Janhvi Kapoor is hopeful that Mr and Mrs Mahi will perform well at the box office. She revealed to Free Press Journal that her quest for a box office hit motivates her to take on diverse roles. "I always want the numerical conversion of the films I do or the roles I decide to play. I constantly seek validation for my work," she said.

She added, "My last theatrical hit was my debut film Dhadak. Roohi was released during the pandemic with 50% capacity, so it was considered a success for that time. But I don't count it as a success. Mili didn't perform well at the box office. Once I get that numerical validation, then I start to believe that I am doing well."
