Casting Director Lauds Rajkumar Rao And Janhvi Kapoor In Mr. And Mrs. Mahi

Were there any actors who surprised you during auditions with their interpretation of the characters? Any actor apart from the main lead that you are very excited for the audience to see?

I think people are going to love Kumud Mishra; he's really such a wonderful actor, and I feel people will really connect with his part in the film.

What should the audience expect from Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao's performances in the movie?

The audiences can expect outstanding performances from Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao in this movie! As you've likely seen in the trailer and song snippets, their chemistry is undeniable. I've mentioned before that I believe this is Janhvi's best performance to date. She has put in tremendous effort, especially in mastering the sport, and it really shows. Rajkumar is an actor who is so disciplined that he truly doesn't have any limits when it comes to giving his best performance.

Who are some of the actors you've cast in the past that you're particularly proud of, and why?

Prajakta Koli is up there, not only because of her talent but also because I know how hard she works. My whole class crew. I think I'm more excited about the fresher finds; they make me very happy.

Tell us about your upcoming projects.

We have several new projects lined up. Later this year, "Call Me Bae" will be released on Amazon Prime. I'm also thrilled about "The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair" with Akshay Kumar. Additionally, we have Kayoze Irani's film "SarZameen" and "Shiddat 2" with Maddock Films coming up soon.
