Barun Sobti Explores Life Changes After Becoming A Parent In Raat Jawaan Hai

Barun Sobti, a well-known television actor, is making waves in the OTT space with his web series. His upcoming series, Raat Jawaan Hai, is eagerly anticipated. The trailer, released recently, has been well-received. The storyline follows three friends navigating the challenges of new parenthood.

In a conversation with Filmibeat, Barun discussed how becoming a parent to Sifat and Meer impacted his life. He shared, "Did life change after Sifat and Meer? Of course, it changed. The message that the show gives and the message about life is that once you become a parent you always want to be a parent. It does change, but honestly I was too busy parenting to notice any of the changes."

The trailer features Barun delivering a monologue. When asked about his preparation and the number of takes needed, he explained, "It took a bit time in the preparation because it is quite long. In the promo it is very small, but in the show it is long. It took me like 30-45 minutes to prepare, but I think we got it in the first go itself. However, we shot it from a lot of angles."

Directed by Sumeet Vyas, Raat Jawaan Hai also features Anjali Anand and Priya Bapat. This series will be available on Sony LIV starting 11th October 2024. Unlike many OTT offerings focused on crime or thrillers, this slice-of-life series offers relatable content about parenting.
