Pushpa 2 Hindi Occupancy Day 11: Allu Arjun's Film Sees Nearly 20% Increase During Morning Shows
Allu Arjun's film, Pushpa 2, has been in the news following a tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre. A stampede during a screening led to a woman's death, drawing attention to the actor. Despite this controversy, the film's popularity has surged, with increased audience numbers noted after Arjun's arrest and subsequent release.
Sukumar's directorial venture, featuring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, has performed exceptionally well at the box office. The Hindi version of Pushpa 2: The Rule has captivated audiences across regions. The film's appeal and Allu Arjun's charisma have significantly boosted ticket sales.

The Hindi release of Pushpa 2 started strong with Rs 70.3 crore on its opening day. Although there were minor declines during weekdays, the movie maintained its momentum. According to Sacnilk, it earned Rs 27 crore on its second Friday when Arjun was arrested. On the following day, it saw substantial growth, collecting Rs 46 crore on day ten. This brought the total Hindi earnings to Rs 498.1 crore over ten days.
On December 15th (second Sunday), after Allu Arjun's release from Chanchalguda Jail, Pushpa 2 experienced a notable increase in morning show attendance. The latest Sacnilk report indicates that the film achieved an overall occupancy rate of 39.87% for morning screenings in the Hindi-speaking regions.
Comparatively, on the previous day (second Saturday), Pushpa 2 had a morning show occupancy of approximately 21.86%. The latest figures suggest an impressive increase of about 18.01% in footfalls for today's morning shows.
The first week concluded with earnings of ₹398.1 crore. Day eight and nine each brought in ₹27 crore, while day ten saw a significant rise to ₹46 crore. This cumulative performance highlights Pushpa 2's strong hold at the box office.
The film continues to draw audiences despite earlier controversies surrounding Allu Arjun's legal issues related to the stampede incident. Its ongoing success is evident from both box office numbers and audience engagement.
