Pushpa 2 Hindi Collection Day 46: Allu Arjun's Film Struggles Against Emergency's Strong Performance

Allu Arjun's film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has seen a resurgence at the box office with its extended version. Directed by Sukumar, this action-packed sequel navigated its seventh weekend amidst stiff competition from other major releases. Released on January 17th, the reloaded version of Pushpa 2 hasn't significantly impacted the box office numbers.

Despite being in theatres for several weeks, Pushpa 2 continues to generate interest. Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, the film is still drawing audiences on its seventh Monday (January 20). While it was expected that the reloaded version would boost earnings, no substantial increase has been observed.

According to Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 saw a modest rise in earnings on its seventh Sunday, netting approximately Rs 1.18 crore. Of this amount, around Rs 90 lakhs came from the Hindi version, as reported by Pinkvilla. The total nett collection for the Hindi version over 46 days is estimated at Rs 808.16 crore. Overall, the film's total collection stands at Rs 1227.93 crore.

On January 19th, Pushpa 2 faced tough competition from Kangana Ranaut's biographical political-drama 'Emergency'. According to Sacnilk, Emergency experienced a significant increase in collections on Sunday, adding Rs 4.35 crore and bringing its three-day total to Rs 10.45 crore.

Pushpa 2 OTT Streaming Updates

Reports suggest that Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical digital streaming rights for Pushpa 2. This means that after its cinema run concludes, the sequel will premiere on Netflix. However, the exact date for its OTT release has not yet been announced.

The ongoing performance of Pushpa 2 highlights its enduring appeal among audiences despite new releases and competition in cinemas. As fans await its OTT debut on Netflix, they continue to support it in theatres across various regions.
