Pushpa 2 Hindi Box Office Collection Breaks Records, Dethrones Jawan In Just Six Days

Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' continues to dominate the box office, setting new records since its release. Directed by Sukumar, this action-drama sequel is on track to become 2024's top-grossing film. It has also achieved the highest opening in Indian cinema history. Before completing its first week, it set a new benchmark in the Hindi market.

The Hindi version of 'Pushpa 2', starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, opened with an impressive Rs 70.3 crore on Thursday. Despite a dip during weekdays after a strong weekend, the film maintained its momentum at the box office.

According to Sacnilk, 'Pushpa 2' collected approximately Rs 36 crore on day six in the Hindi region. This brings its total estimated nett collection in Hindi to Rs 368.1 crore. Overall, the movie has grossed around Rs 645 crore in six days and reached about Rs 957.40 crore worldwide.

Before completing its first week, 'Pushpa 2' surpassed Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' as the fastest Hindi film to reach Rs 350 crore at the box office. While 'Jawan' took nine days to hit this milestone in 2023, Allu Arjun's film achieved it in just six days.

Pushpa 2 OTT Release Updates

Netflix acquired the digital streaming rights for 'Pushpa 2' even before its theatrical release. Reports suggest that the film may premiere on Netflix in January 2025, though official confirmation is still pending.
