Pushpa 2 Hindi Box Office Collection Day 44: Did The Reloaded Version Boost Numbers?
Allu Arjun's film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' has entered its seventh weekend at the box office. Directed by Sukumar, this Telugu action-drama sequel has seen a slowdown in its earnings. However, with the release of an extended version on January 17, a boost was anticipated. This reloaded version adds 20 minutes to the original runtime. Did this new release impact the film's earnings?
Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, 'Pushpa 2' has become the highest-grossing Hindi-dubbed film ever. It has earned more in Hindi than in Telugu. Despite expectations for increased numbers with the reloaded version, there was no significant growth on the seventh Friday. According to Sacnilk, the Hindi version collected around Rs 70 lakhs on January 17, bringing its total to Rs 806.51 crore over 44 days.

The movie had a Hindi occupancy rate of 22.05% on January 17, 2025. In addition to its Hindi earnings, Pushpa 2 added Rs 30 lakhs from the Telugu market that day. The overall box office collection for Pushpa 2 across all languages now stands at approximately Rs 1225.7 crore.
Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 is noted as the highest-grossing film of 2024. With a budget estimated between Rs 400-500 crore, it has broken numerous box office records since its release. However, it now faces stiff competition from other major releases in various languages.
Reports suggest that Netflix has secured the digital streaming rights for Pushpa 2 post-theatrical run. Yet, an official date for its OTT release remains unannounced.
