Pushpa 2 Box Office Day 8 Prediction: Can Allu Arjun’s Film Surpass Baahubali's Lifetime Earnings?

Allu Arjun and his fans are celebrating the success of Pushpa 2: The Rule. This film has become a major force at the box office, setting new records daily. Directed by Sukumar, this sequel to Pushpa: The Rise features Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and others in significant roles.

The movie's trailer, performances, cast, and songs have been well-received. Pushpa 2 has garnered positive reviews across languages like Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. It debuted as the highest opener ever and has achieved several records in the Hindi market, including highest advance booking and opening weekend collections.

Despite a gradual decline in its Hindi market earnings, Pushpa 2 continues to perform well at the box office. According to Sacnilk's report, the film earned Rs 36 crores on day six (first Tuesday) but saw a slight dip to Rs 30 crores on day seven (first Wednesday). This brought its total collection to Rs 398.1 crores.

With current trends, Pushpa 2 is poised to join the Rs 400 crores club today. It's expected to earn Rs 25-30 crores on day eight (second Thursday), potentially reaching Rs 425 crores in Hindi. If these predictions hold true, it will surpass Prabhas' Baahubali: The Beginning's lifetime collection of Rs 421 crores.

At a promotional event, Allu Arjun discussed how Pushpa 2 transcends language barriers. He shared his thoughts: "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
