Pushpa 2 Box Office Day 27: Allu Arjun's Film Earns Thrice That Of Baby John On New Year Eve

Allu Arjun and his fans are celebrating the success of Pushpa 2: The Rule. Directed by Sukumar, this action drama has been a box office sensation since its release. Available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, Pushpa 2 is the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2021 hit Pushpa: The Rise.

The film stars Allu Arjun alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. It was one of the most anticipated films of the year, generating significant excitement among audiences. Notably, Pushpa 2 received rave reviews across all languages and is making history daily in the Hindi market.

On its 27th day, Pushpa 2 saw a slight increase in collections on New Year's Eve. After earning Rs 5.5 crores on its fourth Monday in the Hindi market, it collected Rs 6.35 crores according to Sacnilk. This brought its total earnings to Rs 765.25 crores.

Facing competition from Varun Dhawan's Baby John, Pushpa 2 emerged victorious at the box office. On New Year's Eve, it earned three times more than Baby John in the Hindi market. While Pushpa 2 collected Rs 6.35 crores, Baby John's earnings were Rs 2.15 crores.

At a promotional event, Allu Arjun discussed how Pushpa 2 transcended language barriers: "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
