Pushpa 2 Box Office Day 2: Allu Arjun’s Film Surpasses Animal With Record Collections

Allu Arjun is celebrating a triumphant return to cinemas with Pushpa 2: The Rule, marking his comeback after three years. Directed by Sukumar, this action-packed sequel follows the success of Pushpa: The Rise from 2021. Allu Arjun reprises his role as Pushpa Raj, alongside a star-studded cast including Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, and others.

Pushpa 2 was released in multiple languages: Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film has received rave reviews and made a remarkable debut at the box office. It generated significant buzz with its trailers and catchy songs, achieving the highest opening day collection in the Hindi market. Notably, it surpassed Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan on its release day.

The film began its journey in the Hindi market with an impressive Rs 70.3 crores on opening day. However, there was a 21% drop in collections on the second day (first Friday). According to Sacnilk's report, Pushpa 2 earned Rs 55 crores on day two in the Hindi market. This brought its total earnings for the Hindi version to Rs 125.3 crores.

Despite a decline in numbers, Pushpa 2 set another record at the box office on its second day. With Rs 55 crores collected in the Hindi market, it surpassed Animal's first Friday collection of Rs 54.75 crores. This achievement highlights Pushpa 2's strong performance despite initial fluctuations.

At a promotional event, Allu Arjun expressed his thoughts on Pushpa 2 transcending language barriers: "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".

Pushpa 2 continues to captivate audiences across various regions with its engaging storyline and dynamic performances. As it progresses through its theatrical run, fans eagerly anticipate how it will fare against other major releases.
