Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Prediction: Allu Arjun’s Film Expected To Surpass Rs 250 Crores This Weekend

Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, is one of the year's major releases. Directed by Sukumar, this Telugu action drama is a sequel to the 2021 hit Pushpa: The Rise. Released in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam, it features Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil.

The anticipation for Pushpa 2 has been immense since its announcement. The filmmakers capitalised on this excitement, marking Allu Arjun's return to cinemas after three years. As anticipated, the film received an overwhelming response at theatres, achieving record-breaking box office numbers across all languages during its opening weekend.

On its first Saturday, Pushpa 2 experienced a significant boost in earnings with a 29% increase from Friday. It collected Rs 73.5 crores, surpassing its opening day figures. This marked the highest third-day collection and first Saturday earnings in the Hindi market for the film.

Based on current trends, Pushpa 2 is expected to maintain strong box office performance on day four, which is the first Sunday. Predictions suggest it will earn between Rs 70-80 crores in the Hindi market alone. By the end of its opening weekend, it is projected to surpass Rs 250 crores overall.

At a promotional event, Allu Arjun discussed how Pushpa 2 transcends language barriers. He expressed his amazement at being part of a Hindi film project: "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
