Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 35: Allu Arjun’s Film Approaches Rs 797 Crores Despite Decline
Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna are enjoying the success of their latest film, Pushpa 2: The Rise. This movie, directed by Sukumar, is their second collaboration and has become a significant hit in Indian cinema. Featuring Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist, this action drama has captivated audiences. As a sequel to the 2021 hit Pushpa 1: The Rise, it is noted for being the most expensive production in the industry.
The film was released in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. It not only met but exceeded expectations set by its predecessor. Pushpa 2 achieved remarkable box office success across all languages. In the Hindi market, it recorded an impressive opening, surpassing films like Stree 2, Gadar 2, Baahubali 2, and Jawan. However, by the fifth week, its momentum slowed down naturally after an initial surge.

On day 35 (fifth Wednesday), Pushpa 2 saw a slight increase in its earnings after a consistent decline post-fifth Monday. According to Sacnilk's report, the film earned Rs 1.5 crores on day 34 (fifth Tuesday) and Rs 1.65 crores on day 35. This brought its total collection in the Hindi market to Rs 796.35 crores.
As Pushpa 2 completed five weeks since its release, it amassed Rs 21.7 crores during week five in the Hindi-speaking regions.
At a promotional event, Allu Arjun spoke about Pushpa 2's impact across language barriers: "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
