Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 34: Allu Arjun’s Film Faces Decline Amidst Competition
Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna are celebrating the success of their film, Pushpa 2: The Rise. Directed by Sukumar, this action drama has become a significant hit in Indian cinema. Featuring Fahadh Faasil as the main antagonist, Pushpa 2 is a sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa 1: The Rise and is considered one of the industry's most expensive productions.
Pushpa 2 was released in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. It received positive reviews across all languages and exceeded expectations at the box office. Notably, it achieved the highest opening in the Hindi market, surpassing major films like Stree 2, Gadar 2, Baahubali 2, and Jawan. However, its momentum has slowed during its fifth week.

The film's earnings have significantly decreased since the fifth Monday. According to Sacnilk's report, Pushpa 2 earned Rs 1.9 crores on day 33 (fifth Monday) and further dropped to Rs 1.5 crores on day 34. This brought its total earnings to Rs 796.2 crores.
Despite facing competition from Varun Dhawan's Baby John, Pushpa 2 has maintained its dominance at the box office. Baby John earned only Rs 25 lakhs on a recent Tuesday while Pushpa 2 collected six times that amount on the same day.
At a promotional event, Allu Arjun shared his thoughts on Pushpa 2 transcending language barriers: "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
