Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 33: Allu Arjun’s Film Experiences Major Decline In Earnings
Allu Arjun's film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has been a phenomenal success since its release on December 5. This sequel to the 2021 hit, Pushpa 1: The Rise, directed by Sukumar, features Allu Arjun in the lead role with Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in key roles. The film's storytelling and performances have earned widespread acclaim, setting new records in the industry.
Pushpa 2 was released in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. It is one of the most expensive productions in Indian cinema history. From its premiere, it has been a commercial powerhouse, surpassing major hits like Jawan, Pathaan, and Stree 3 at the box office. Its success across different language markets underscores its universal appeal and marks it as a monumental blockbuster.

On the fifth Monday, Pushpa 2 experienced a significant drop of about 66% in its Hindi collections. According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 1.9 crores on day 33 (fifth Monday), bringing its total Hindi version earnings to Rs 793.2 crores.
The movie maintained strong performance during its fifth weekend at the box office. As reported by Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 collected Rs 5.6 crores on day 32 (fifth Sunday), raising its overall earnings to Rs 791.3 crores. Over the entire fifth weekend, it garnered Rs 10 crores.
Allu Arjun shared his thoughts on Pushpa 2 breaking language barriers at a promotional event. He expressed his amazement by saying, "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
The movie continues to draw audiences even into its fifth week in Hindi-speaking regions. Its remarkable journey highlights both its commercial success and cultural impact across diverse audiences.
