Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 3: Allu Arjun's Film Surpasses Rs 200 Crores In Record Time

Allu Arjun's latest film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, is making waves at the box office. Directed by Sukumar, this action drama has been released in multiple languages including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film features a talented cast with Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj. Pushpa 2 is the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2021 hit Pushpa: The Rise.

The film opened to enthusiastic reviews across all languages and had a spectacular start at the box office both in India and globally. On its first day alone, Pushpa 2 earned Rs 70.3 crores. This was followed by Rs 56.9 crores on the second day and Rs 73.5 crores on the third day. These figures brought the total collection to an impressive Rs 200.7 crores within just three days.

Pushpa 2 has surpassed Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan in terms of first three days collections. Jawan had previously collected Rs 180.45 crores over the same period.

The film has also set a record by becoming the fastest to reach both Rs 150 crores and Rs 200 crores in India. While Pushpa 2 achieved this milestone in just three days, Jawan took four days to cross the Rs 200 crore mark.

Moreover, Pushpa 2 is the first Hindi market film to earn over Rs 70 crores on two separate days—Day 1 (Thursday) and Day 3 (Saturday). This achievement has established a new standard at the box office.

At a promotional event, Allu Arjun expressed his thoughts on Pushpa 2 breaking language barriers: "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
