Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 2: Allu Arjun’s Film Surpasses Lifetime Earnings Of Pushpa 1

Allu Arjun is enjoying a successful phase with the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule. This Telugu action drama, directed by Sukumar, has become a major hit at the box office. The film stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Rao Ramesh, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil, Dhananjaya, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in significant roles. It follows the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise.

Pushpa 2 marks Allu Arjun's return to cinemas after three years. Released in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, it received positive reviews nationwide. Fans were captivated by Allu Arjun's portrayal of Pushpa Raj. The film achieved record-breaking openings across all languages.

Pushpa 2 has outperformed its predecessor in terms of lifetime earnings. It surpassed the lifetime collection of Pushpa 1: The Rise, which had earned Rs 106.35 crores in the Hindi market. Additionally, it recorded the highest first Friday collection ever, overtaking Ranbir Kapoor's Animal.

The film began its box office journey with Rs 70.3 crores on its first Thursday in the Hindi market. On its second day (first Friday), there was a slight dip in earnings to Rs 55 crores. This brought the total collection to Rs 125.3 crores in the Hindi domain.

Allu Arjun shared his thoughts on Pushpa 2 transcending language barriers during a promotional event. He expressed how significant it was for him to work on a Hindi film: "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
