Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 1: Allu Arjun's Film Surpasses Jawan With Record Opening

Allu Arjun is celebrating the success of his latest film, Pushpa 2: The Rule. This highly anticipated movie has finally premiered in cinemas, receiving positive feedback from both audiences and critics. Directed by Sukumar, this action drama stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj. Pushpa 2 continues the story from the 2021 release, Pushpa: The Rise.

The chemistry between Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli has once again captivated viewers. Pushpa 2 generated significant excitement and was released on over 12,000 screens worldwide. It is considered one of India's most expensive films with a budget ranging from Rs 400-500 crores. As it hit theatres, it achieved remarkable success in the Hindi market.

Pushpa 2 set a new benchmark with its advance booking collections in the Hindi market. According to Sacnilk's report, the film earned Rs 67 crores on its opening day for the Hindi version alone.

With an impressive start at the Hindi box office, Pushpa 2 surpassed Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan. While Jawan collected Rs 65.5 crores on its first day, Pushpa 2 emerged as the highest opener ever in the Hindi sector.

At a promotional event, Allu Arjun shared his thoughts on Pushpa 2 transcending language barriers: "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
