Pro Panja League 2024 Delayed After Parvin Dabas Suffers Serious Car Accident
The Pro Panja League's second season has been postponed due to a car accident involving Parvin Dabass, the league's co-founder, on Saturday, September 21. This incident has prompted the organisers to reconsider their schedule and plan new dates for the event.
Parvin Dabas, a well-known actor-producer in Bollywood, was critically injured in a car crash in Bandra, Mumbai. The accident led to his immediate admission to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). His condition has caused concern among both the film industry and his fans.

League officials have promised that updated information about the new dates will be shared soon. They also confirmed that the event will still be broadcast on Sony Sports Ten 3 SD and HD channels as planned. This ensures fans won't miss any action when the tournament resumes.
Despite this setback, Preeti Jhangiani, another co-founder of the league, remains hopeful. She quoted Parvin Dabass saying, "Parvin has always said that every cloud has a silver lining. So we are looking at this as an opportunity to make the Pro Panja League season 2 even bigger and better than originally planned and we will soon announce the dates for that once Parvin is better as he is the Captain of the ship and a ship cannot sail without it's Captain." This reflects their determination to return stronger.
Meanwhile, the Asian International Armwrestling Cup will proceed as scheduled. Organised by the People's Armwrestling Federation of India (PAFI), it will take place at Aurika Hotel in Mumbai from October 19 to 27. The event will feature international players and representatives from the Asian Federation.
Preeti Jhangiani, who is also PAFI's President, is focusing her efforts on ensuring this event's success. Her dedication highlights her commitment to armwrestling during these challenging times.
