Priyanshu Painyuli And Ali Fazal Share Music And Bond On 'Mirzapur 3' Set

Priyanshu Painyuli, who played the character Robin in this season, enjoyed filming with his co-star and close friend Ali Fazal. They bonded over music while working on the intense drama.

Discussing his friendship with Ali, Priyanshu says, "We have been old friends and admirers of each other's work. We also share a lot of music with each other whenever we used to get ready as Guddu and Robin in our changing rooms and vanity vans and whenever we would catch up, I did make sure that I made him listen to new tracks. Our music taste is also similar. Similarly, he would do that as well. We were listening to different techno versions of Spiderman music which we both love. He made me hear some and I made him hear my collection. I think I can talk to Ali about everything without thinking twice and that's the kind of the bond we share. Though we are on-screen rivals, in real life, we are very close friends. I can call him my big brother."

Their shared love for music was a significant part of their time together on set. Priyanshu often introduced Ali to new tracks, especially different techno versions of Spiderman music they both enjoyed. This mutual interest in music strengthened their bond off-screen.

Praising Ali's performance in 'Mirzapur 3', Priyanshu adds, "I texted him after watching the whole series ('Mirzapur 3') that I was a friend, colleague, and co-actor since long but now I have become a big fan of him for life because the things he has done as an actor in the third season of Mirzapur are incredible. There are certain layers and very intricate small details that he has put in his character and the way he has achieved that is so beautiful that it looks so natural and organic. I am a big fan of him now."
