Kalki 2898 AD Hits 100Cr Milestone In Opening Weekend With Prabhas Leading

Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Collection Day 4 (Hindi) Prediction: Nag Ashwin's latest film, Kalki 2898 AD, featuring Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, has been eagerly awaited. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan in significant roles. Set in a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2898 AD, this dystopian science fiction film was made with an enormous budget of Rs 600 crores, making it the most expensive Indian film to date.

Upon its release amid high anticipation, Kalki 2898 AD received rave reviews. Fans praised the storyline and performances of Prabhas and Deepika. Based on these trends, Kalki 2898 AD is expected to surpass the Rs 100 crore mark in the Hindi market today (day four/first Sunday).

Overall in India, Kalki 2898 AD has already crossed the Rs 220 crore mark and is expected to approach Rs 300 crores during its opening weekend. Additionally, the film has performed exceptionally well globally, amassing Rs 298.5 crores worldwide within just two days of release.

Interestingly, Kalki 2898 AD will reportedly depict some events from the Mahabharata set in the year 3102 BC. In an interview with Deadline, Nag Ashwin clarified that the movie "does not involve any characters actively worshipped by large numbers of Hindus." He added, "We can take it as extremely religious or we can take it as the story of somebody who was born with a lot of power, didn't know what to do with it, and found his mentor in the process."
