Kalki 2898 AD's Strong Box Office Run: Prabhas' Film Set To Surpass 140Cr On Day 6

However, on the first Monday (day five), collections dropped by over 58%, bringing in Rs 16.5 crores and pushing the total to Rs 128 crore. Based on current trends, Kalki 2898 AD is expected to maintain a strong box office presence and is projected to earn between Rs 10-15 crores today (day six/first Tuesday), nearing the Rs 140 crores mark.

Additionally, Kalki 2898 AD has surpassed Rs 555 crores worldwide and is anticipated to cross the Rs 600 crore milestone soon.

Meanwhile, Kalki 2898 AD reportedly chronicles some events from the Mahabharata set in the year 3102 BC. In an interview with Deadline, Nag Ashwin clarified that the movie "does not involve any characters actively worshipped by large numbers of Hindus." He further explained: "We can take it as extremely religious or we can take it as the story of somebody who was born with a lot of power, didn't know what to do with it, and found his mentor in the process."

The film's unique storyline and high production value have contributed to its widespread acclaim and box office success. As audiences continue to flock to theatres, Kalki 2898 AD's financial performance remains robust.
