Prabhas' Special Gesture For Deepika Padukone At Kalki 2898 AD Pre-Release Event: Deepika Padukone and Prabhas are making headlines these days. They have collaborated for the first time in Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD. The movie is an epic dystopian science fiction action film featuring Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani in the lead. Kalki 2898 AD is set to release on June 27, and the makers organised a grand pre-release event in Mumbai with the lead cast today.

As the Kalki 2898 AD pre-release event was graced by the lead cast, Prabhas' adorable gesture towards Deepika Padukone has been winning hearts. For the uninitiated, Deepika Padukone is expecting her first child with her husband Ranveer Singh and was seen flaunting her baby bump during the event. While her pregnancy glow was evidently visible, Prabhas was seen helping the mom-to-be to get off the stage. As Deepika was seen trying to get off the stage post her welcome, Prabhas along with megastar Amitabh Bachchan were seen rushing to lend her a hand to get off the stage with ease.

Interestingly, during the event, Prabhas also spoke about working with Deepika for the first time and said, "I always wanted to work with her always and some actress who can reach on international level. And such a beautiful gorgeous, and superstar and a great actress. It is beautiful to work with you. Thank you".

Meanwhile, as Kalki 2898 AD will reportedly chronicle some events of the Mahabharata in the year of 3102 BC, Nag Ashwin in his interaction with Deadline stated that the movie "does not involve any characters actively worshipped by large numbers of Hindus". He further asserted, "We can take it as extremely religious or we can take it as the story of somebody who was born with a lot of power, didn't know what to do with it, and found his mentor in the process".
