Polite Society OTT Release Confirmed: In 2023, the UK saw the release of 'Polite Society,' a martial arts action-comedy film. Written and directed by debutant Nida Manzoor, the movie grossed $2.7 million at the box office. It premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. Now, nearly a year later, it is set for its global digital streaming premiere.

Polite Society Synopsis

The story revolves around sisters Ria Khan and Lena. Ria, an ambitious and rebellious young woman, believes she must rescue her sister Lena from an impending marriage. With the help of her friends, Ria plans a daring wedding heist to secure independence and uphold sisterhood.

The film features Priya Kansara as Ria Khan, alongside Ritu Arya, Nimra Bucha, Akshay Khanna, Seraphina Beh, Shobu Kapoor, Jeff Mirza, Eunice Huthart, Sally Ann, and Shona Babayemi.

Nida Manzoor not only wrote but also directed the movie. It was produced under the Working Title Films and Parkville Pictures banners. The music and score were composed by Tom Howe and Shez Manzoor. Ashley Connor handled cinematography while Robbie Morrison took on editing duties.
