Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba Review: In 2021, a film titled Haseen Dillruba starring Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, and Harshvardhan Rane started streaming on Netflix. The film received mixed reviews from the critics, but got a good response from the audiences. Now, after three years, a sequel to the movie titled Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba has premiered on the OTT platform. When a sequel is made, we expect it to take the franchise to a level above from what the first instalment was and that's what happened with Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. Well, I wasn't much impressed with Haseen Dillruba, so when the sequel was announced, I had doubts whether how the story will be taken further and if it will be able to impress me this time. But, to be honest, this is how a sequel should be made.

While songs in the film are decent, the movie gets full marks for the background. It is just amazing!

If you have watched Haseen Dillruba, you would know that Rani (Taapsee Pannu) and Rishu (Vikrant Massey) did some crazy planning and plotting to stay with each other. Now, they have shifted to Agra, but they are living in different houses like a stranger, and meet at public places. Abhimanyu (Sunny Kaushal), a compounder, falls in love with Rani. Once again, a third person has come in Rishu and Rani's life, so what will happen? To know that you need to watch the film...

Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey both get into their characters perfectly. They have performed very well. Watch out for Taapsee's excellent act in the climax.

While of course Taapsee and Vikrant leave a strong mark with their performance, the show-stealer is Sunny Kaushal. Sunny gets a chance to play multiple layered character in the film and he has nailed it. This film will surely be a game changer for him. Exceptional Performance by Sunny! Jimmy Shergill is good in his part, but Aditya Srivastava who played the main cop role in the first part gets less screentime in the sequel.

While Haseen Dillruba had a few twists and turns, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is filled with twists and turns that will surprise you. While the first half builds the story well keeping us engaged, the second half has a twist literally every 10 minutes. The movie will surely keep you on edge of your seat to know what's going to happen next...

Writer Kanika Dhillon and director Jayprad Desai have delivered a perfect thrilling and entertaining film; clearly taking the franchise forward amazingly. Also, it has been shot wonderfully by cinematographer Vishal Sinha. The frames are beautiful, and believe me watching it on big screens would have been fantastic experience for audiences.

Overall Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is much better than its first part and that's how a sequel should be. It is thrilling entertaining filled with twists turns In fact now we are waiting for third part as well
