Panchayat 3's Durgesh Kumar Discusses Transition From Adult Films To Mainstream Success
Panchayat 3: Panchayat 3 is the latest talk of the town ever since it was released on Amazon Prime. Apart from an engaging storyline, its ability to hold the audience with simplicity has garnered the series fame. The series features talented members from the film world, including Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Sanvikaa, Chandan Roy, Faisal Malik, Pankaj Jha, Sunita Rajwar, and others.
Among the cast, Durgesh Kumar, who played the negative role of Bankaras in the series, recently opened up about his struggling phase. He revealed that he used to work in adult films during his initial days. In a recent interview, he said, "I can't live without acting. So, I did any work that came my way because I was confident in my abilities."

Durgesh added, "We are getting work now, which is a big deal. Else, where would we fit? Nobody takes us in the action genre shows. At least with comedy, we get these chances so it feels very good."
Durgesh plays the role of Bhushan aka Bankaras and holds a postgraduate diploma in acting from the National School of Drama. He made his acting debut in Imtiaz Ali's Highway and has worked in popular films like Freaky Ali, Sultan, Dhadak, Sanju, Bahen Hogi Teri, and Bombairiya. He was also seen in Laapataa Ladies lately.
Panchayat 3 has been streaming on Amazon Prime since May 28.
