Panchayat 3: What's Good, What's Bad
After much anticipation, Jitendra Kumar's Panchayat 3 has finally been released, and the audience is buzzing with excitement. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and written by Chandan Kumar, this third installment of the comedy-drama series features Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Sanvikaa, Chandan Roy, Durgesh Kumar, Ashok Pathak, Faisal Malik, and Sunita Rajwar in lead roles. Following the success of the first two seasons, Panchayat 3 has generated significant interest.

Panchayat tells the story of engineering graduate Abhishek Tripathi, who becomes a Panchayat secretary in the village of Phulera. Each season introduces new challenges for Abhishek, keeping the audience engaged. The third season picks up where the second left off, with Abhishek navigating village politics as Phulera prepares for elections for a new pradhan (village head). The series is now available on Amazon Prime Video, and social media is abuzz with fans discussing its strengths and weaknesses.
On Twitter, some viewers expressed disappointment with the pacing and climax of Panchayat 3. One user commented, "Thoda off ho gaya iss baar #PanchayatSeason3... natural screenplay ke chakkar mai har scene ko bahut slow paced karke extend kiya jisse wo unnatural lagne lag gaya!! Massive fall from the standards of season 1 and 2!!" Another user noted that the climax did not meet expectations and was more violent compared to previous seasons.

Jitendra Kumar recently shared insights about his character and how he drew inspiration from Shah Rukh Khan's Swades. Speaking to Pinkvilla, he said, "When we were initially writing and listening to the story, we doubted that there were some similarities between the two characters. He also reluctantly comes to his village just to live for a couple of days. So, we thought that people might highlight this. But we used it as an inspiration in the show. In the first season, the friend also refers to this, but we added those elements. But it never appeared as an obstacle. We used it well. So, it never crossed our minds that it is similar to Shah Rukh's character. In fact, I love 'Swades', so I was really excited to do something in the same zone."
