Tragic Loss: Panchayat 2 Star Ankita Tiwari Killed In Road Accident
The entertainment industry is once again in mourning following the tragic news of Bhojpuri actress Ankita Tiwari's death. This sorrowful event comes shortly after the industry was rocked by the loss of ghazal legend Pankaj Udhas. Ankita Tiwari, known for her role in the widely acclaimed Panchayat season 2, alongside Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and Raghubir Yadav, met with a fatal road accident.
The accident occurred in Dewakali village, Mohania district, on February 25. Reports indicate that Ankita Tiwari was traveling with Bihar's renowned singer Chotu Pandey, also known as Vimlesh Pandey, and actress Simran Srivastava when their SUV collided with a road divider and was subsequently hit by a truck. The crash claimed the lives of nine individuals, including Tiwari, Pandey, and Srivastava.

Authorities have confirmed the incident, noting that the victims were en route to an event at the time of the accident. The Bhojpuri film industry is deeply affected by this loss, expressing grief over the untimely demise of these artists.
In response to this tragic event, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took to Twitter (now X) to express his condolences. He stated, "I am deeply saddened by the tragic road accident near Devkali on NH 2 in the Mohania police station area of Kaimur district. My heartfelt condolences go out to the families of the deceased. Immediate instructions have been issued for the proper treatment of the injured. Wishing a swift and full recovery to all those injured in this unfortunate incident." This statement underscores the gravity of the situation and extends sympathy to those affected by this tragedy.
