In 2024, on Major Singh's birth anniversary, Nimrat Kaur and her family unveiled a memorial to honour him and twelve other soldiers who died serving their country. The memorial is located in Mohanpura, Ganganagar, his birthplace. A chowk there is named 'Major Bhupender Singh Chowk' in his memory.
Nimrat has often spoken about how deeply her father influenced her life and values. She shared images from the memorial's inauguration with a touching caption: "A dream my family and I dreamt of 30 years ago since we lost him in Jammu and Kashmir in 1994, finally came true."
Over time, Nimrat has consistently highlighted the impact of her father's teachings on her life. His journey from humble beginnings to becoming an esteemed officer serves as an inspiration to many.
