Neetu Chandra Unveils First Look Of Bhojpuri Film Kariyatthi Addressing Societal Issues
Neetu Chandra, an actress and producer, recently revealed the first glimpse of her anticipated Bhojpuri film, Kariyatthi. Directed by National award winner Nitin Neera Chandra, she shared the film's poster on social media. This highlights her dedication to the project as both presenter and producer.
The movie Kariyatthi is inspired by a short story by Saroj Singh. It tackles significant societal issues like skin colour discrimination and female foeticide. The poster suggests a narrative that combines personal experiences with these important themes, aiming to deeply connect with viewers.

Kariyatthi plans to reach a broad audience by being available in several languages. This approach ensures its message can resonate with diverse groups, enhancing its impact across different cultures.
The film features talents such as Annu Priya from the National School of Drama and Deepak Singh. It is completed and scheduled for release early next year.
Director Nitin Neera Chandra stated, "My objective is to highlight social issues through engaging storytelling that not only captivates audiences but also sparks meaningful conversations. This marks their fourth collaboration after Deswa, Mithila Makhaan, and Jackson Halt. While Jackson Halt was praised for its thrilling narrative, Mithila Makhaan received a national award for Best Maithili Language Film, solidifying their cinematic reputation.

Currently touring the US for her musical show Umraao Jaan, Neetu was last seen in Sony Motion Pictures' Never Back Down Revolt franchise.
