Navya Naveli Nanda Reveals Lockdown Conversations Inspired Her Podcast
In a recent episode of "Kiska Brand Bajega," hosted by Aditya Bhat, Navya Naveli Nanda emerged as a beacon of inspiration, delving into her profound journey in advocating for women's empowerment, gender equality, and social justice through her initiative, Project Naveli. As a young entrepreneur and philanthropist, Navya has been making strides in both the business and philanthropic sectors, demonstrating a steadfast dedication to fostering societal progress.
During an insightful discussion with Aditya Bhat, Navya shared the origins of her podcast, "What the Hell Navya." She recounted the unique period of the lockdown, which provided an opportunity for deep-seated conversations with her family members, including her grandmother and mother. "During the lockdown, I live with my entire family so my Nani and my mom and I, you know, would sit a lot during the lockdown cause that's all we could do and have conversations. Conversations we hadn't had before, you know, sometimes you can live with people your whole life and not have certain conversations," Navya revealed.

These discussions, according to Navya, paved the way for exploring topics that resonated with the current social climate. "We felt that, you know, there was so much to talk about that we hadn't, and as we were having those conversations, we felt that the topics and the themes that we were touching on were very relevant to what's happening in today's social context," she elaborated. This emphasis on open and meaningful dialogue underscores the importance of communication in understanding and addressing societal issues.
Apart from her podcast, Navya's contributions to business and philanthropy have been highlighted in the current season of "Kiska Brand Bajega." Her efforts in these domains are not only inspiring but also indicative of her commitment to instigating positive changes within society.
