Nargis Fakhri Shares Post Amid Sister Aliya's Arrest In Double Murder Case

Nargis Fakhri has recently been in the news due to her sister Aliya Fakhri's legal issues. Aliya is accused of killing her ex-boyfriend, Edward Jacobs. Despite these serious accusations, Nargis has not made any public statements about the situation. Instead, she posted a photo on Instagram with Housefull 5 actors Sonam Bajwa and Jacqueline Fernandez, captioned "We are coming for you," which quickly caught online attention.

Aliya Fakhri was arrested after Edward Jacobs and his friend Anastasia Star Ettienne died in a fire in Queens, New York. Authorities claim that Aliya set a two-storey garage on fire, resulting in their deaths from smoke inhalation and thermal injuries. She has been denied bail and is facing murder charges.

The upcoming film Housefull 5 is set to be an exciting addition to the comedy series. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, it features stars like Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Fardeen Khan. The cast is reportedly gearing up for a grand song shoot to mark 14 years of the franchise.

Nargis's mother has spoken out about the allegations against Aliya. She expressed disbelief at the charges, stating, "I don't think she would be killing someone. She was a person who was caring for everybody. She tried to help everybody," as reported by various news outlets.

A source close to Nargis revealed that she found out about her sister's situation through media reports. The source mentioned that Nargis has not been in contact with Aliya for over two decades. "She has not been in touch with her sister for over 20 years. The actor learned about the incident through the news, just like everyone else," according to India Today.

Aliya is currently held at Rikers Island, New York City's largest jail facility. She pleaded not guilty to the charges but could face life imprisonment if convicted.

Housefull 5 is scheduled for release on June 6, 2025, promising fans another dose of laughter with its ensemble cast and comedic storyline.
