Nakul Roshan Sahdev Explains How Gymming Enhances Emotional Resilience
Nakul Roshan Sahdev, known for his roles in Gully Boy and Pagglait, has recently completed filming for Murdabaad. Alongside acting, Nakul is passionate about fitness. He believes maintaining physical health is crucial for performing well on screen.
He shared his fitness philosophy, stating, "Training is part of my lifestyle. It's like taking a shower every day. Even if it's just 20-30 mins of skipping sessions, I cannot imagine a day without it. I don't take any off day. No matter where I am."

Nakul finds that regular gym visits help him manage emotional challenges. He recounted how exercise became his outlet after a breakup. "I had so much anger in me after my first break up and I only knew one way to channel it, which is through physical exertion. I would not be able to put myself to sleep without physically exhausting myself," he said.
The actor also reflected on a difficult period following the loss of his grandfather. He explained how running provided solace during this time of grief and confusion. "After I lost my Nana ji, I was in the worst shape both physically and mentally. Whenever I go through a low, I shut myself from the world, and I spend long hours running because my mind is constantly looking for answers," he shared.
Discovering Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) marked a turning point for Nakul. He described how the sport helped him grow stronger mentally and physically. "After some time, MMA happened. I loved that sport from my first class. It has made me a more resilient human being," he added.
Nakul encourages others to embrace fitness as a means of empowerment and self-reliance. He advises focusing on simple routines that require minimal equipment but offer significant benefits.
"You just need your pair of running shoes, a bottle of water and some good music. Every single day! You need to understand that to most people when they go through a tough situation their victim mindset kicks in, that's when they need people to talk to, and soon they are dependent on other people," he said.
In his view, individuals possess the strength within themselves to tackle life's challenges independently.
