Nagarjuna Unveils Season 2 Of Krish, Trish, And Baltiboy: Bharat Hain Hum At IFFI 2024

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has unveiled the eagerly anticipated second season of the animated series "Krish, Trish, and Baltiboy: Bharat Hain Hum" at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. This series aims to highlight India's lesser-known freedom fighters through engaging storytelling.

Season 2 will be available on Doordarshan, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video, just like its predecessor. The series will be accessible in 12 Indian languages, including Hindi and Tamil, and seven international languages such as French and Arabic. This wide availability ensures a global reach across 150 countries.

Nagarjuna Launches Bharat Hain Hum Season 2

The new season continues to spotlight unsung heroes from various regions of India. It features figures like Taji Dele from Arunachal Pradesh and Birsa Munda from Jharkhand. These stories aim to instill pride in India's history while showcasing the diversity of its freedom fighters.

Superstar Nagarjuna attended the launch event alongside notable figures like Shri Sanjay Jaju, Secretary of Information & Broadcasting, and Mahima Kaul from Netflix India. Nagarjuna expressed his enthusiasm for the series, stating that it is crucial for children to learn about these historical figures who sacrificed for the nation.

The Secretary emphasised the importance of making India's freedom struggle appealing to children through animation. "By using animation, we're making these rich histories not only accessible but also engaging," said Jaju. This approach offers young minds a chance to learn about pivotal figures in India's history.

Munjal Shroff and Tilak Shetty, creators of the series, shared their vision: "The stories of India's unsung heroes have often been overshadowed. Through this series, we aim to ensure that their contributions are remembered by today's youth."

Global Reach and Impact

Shilangi Mukherji from Prime Video highlighted the significance of launching Season 2 on December 1st. "The series beautifully highlights the invaluable contribution of several heroes who played a significant part in India's freedom struggle," Mukherji stated.

The creators collaborated with nearly 1,000 professionals across India to deliver this ambitious project on time. This effort underscores their commitment to bringing these important stories to a wider audience efficiently.

A Collaborative Effort

A spokesperson from Netflix expressed excitement about co-producing another season with Graphiti Studios and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. "Krish, Trish & Baltiboy is a wonderful story that celebrates India's local culture," they said.

Mukherji also praised the collaborative efforts behind the series: "We would like to congratulate MIB, Central Bureau of Communication, and Graphiti Studios for producing this wonderful series." The initiative aims to foster growth in India's creative economy by showcasing Indian stories globally.

This new season promises to captivate audiences worldwide while educating them about India's rich history through compelling narratives.
