DJ Yogii Marries Charu Semwal: A Love Story Born From Music

Music often brings people together, and for DJ Yogii, it forged a lifelong bond with Charu Semwal. Today, they are tying the knot in Delhi. Yogii is a prominent DJ in India, while Charu gained fame as an Indian Idol finalist.

Yogii recalls the beginning of their journey when he was asked to remake a song originally sung by Charu. Their first meeting took place at one of his shows in Mumbai. "That's where our numbers were exchanged, and we started talking. It all started with checking with each other how our shows happened and gradually the relationship evolved and we never knew when and how, it just happened," he says.

The couple bonded over their mutual interests in food and travel. However, music remained their strongest connection. Yogii expresses certainty about his decision to marry Charu, stating, "I didn't have a doubt in my mind that I wanted to marry her and today, we are standing here, all set to live the rest of our lives together," he concludes.
