Munjya's TV Premiere Date Set Ahead Of OTT Release Following Box Office Triumph

Munjya Premiere Date: Abhay Verma and Sharvari starrer Munjya has been one of the talked about films of the year which has left everyone in absolute awe. Helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya is a horror comedy drama which also featured Mona Singh, Sathyaraj and Suhas Joshi in the lead. To note, Munjya is the third film in the Maddock Supernatural Universe and focuses on the legend of munjya, inspired by Indian folklore and mythology.

After opening to rave reviews from the audience, Munjya witnessed a massive box office success in India and worldwide. The horror comedy raked in Rs 107 crores in India and Rs 132.13 crores worldwide. As Munjya has been receiving rave reviews from the audience and critics, fans have been eagerly waiting for the OTT release of this much talked about horror comedy. However, while the makers are yet to announce the OTT release date, here's where you can watch Munjya your home.

To note, after the immense theatrical success, Munjya will be premiered first on Indian television ahead of the OTT release. And now, Munjya TV premiere release is out. Munjya will be having its grand television premiere on August 24 and will be released on Star Gold channel

Meanwhile, Aditya recently got candid about how he was roped in for Munjya and told Bollywood Hungama, "A lot of actors find auditions tiring but I don't think that way. I feel an audition is like Gateway of India for every actor. If you cross that, then the sea is yours. Whatever happens after that, whether you swim or drown, but you need to cross the Gateway of India. I had given an audition. At that time, I knew that this was going to be a beautiful film. At that time, I had thought that irrespective of whether I become a part of it, the film is going to give a lot of encouragement to Hindi cinema. This genre hasn't been explored much. I am happy that I started my theatrical journey with Munjya".
