Munjya's Box Office Journey: Strong Week 2 Performance Nears 70Cr Milestone
Munjya Box Office Collection Day 14 Prediction: Abhay Verma, a new talent in the industry, is making waves with his debut film. Known for his role in Manoj Bajpayee's "The Family Man 2," Verma is now gaining attention with his first big-screen release, "Munjya." Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, "Munjya" is a horror comedy inspired by Indian folklore. It is the fourth film in the Maddock Supernatural Universe, following "Stree," "Roohi," and "Bhediya," and has been highly anticipated this year.
Also starring Sharvari, Mona Singh, Suhasini Joshi, Sathyaraj, and Taranjot Singh, "Munjya" has generated significant buzz with its intriguing storyline and VFX. The film opened to positive reviews, with fans particularly impressed by Abhay's performance. "Munjya" recorded an opening day collection of Rs 4 crores and saw substantial growth over the opening weekend. The film maintained strong box office performance during its first week and crossed Rs 50 crores by the second weekend.

Despite a noticeable drop in numbers during the second week, "Munjya" has managed to retain a good hold at the box office. According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 5.25 crores on day 11 (second Monday) and Rs 3.4 crores on day 12 (second Tuesday). On day 13 (second Wednesday), it collected Rs 2.85 crores, bringing its total earnings to Rs 65.30 crores. Based on current trends, "Munjya" is expected to earn between Rs 2-2.5 crores today (day 14/second Thursday), inching closer to the Rs 70 crores mark.
Discussing her character in "Munjya," Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing; many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character."
